So the last two days have been crazy with my 8mo throwing tantrums for everything.He is having a hard time going to bed.I thought its due to teething because he has been gnawing badly at everything around.But I am not sure.My hubby thinks we should try to discipline him.But I scared him off telling him that to discipline an 8mo would invite the child protection services to our house.However, I do feel I'm spoiling my 8mo.He realizes now that all he needs to do is cry and we give him whatever he wants or play baby videos on youtube or let him stay up late.
I always thought I would be the strict parent and my hubby would go easy and spoil our kids.But now I find myself totally unable to bear my baby crying or upset.My hubby doesn't care if he cries and wants to make sure he's in bed at the right time and so on.In fact, it was my hubby who taught him to hold the bottle and feed himself.I couldn't get myself to do that since I always found him to enjoy himself more when we were feeding him.Surprisingly, he doesn't mind holding the bottle and feeding himself when my hubby is around.But around me he cries and insists I hold him in my arms and feed him while he plays with my hair or touches my face and basically just lounges in my lap.
Can 8mo be that smart ? :~
